Tegal Tech Community Day 2025 Has Been Cancelled

Like many in our local tech community, I was eagerly anticipating the Tegal Tech Community Day 2025 (TTCD 2025). As someone planning to volunteer as a photographer for the event, I was especially excited to capture the energy and connections that make these gatherings so special.

It is with disappointment, therefore, that I share the news: TTCD 2025 has been cancelled.

The announcement was made on the official WordPress events page, which had previously promoted the event as “sebuah event IT terbesar di Tegal” (the largest IT event in Tegal). It was set to be a significant gathering for workshops, networking, and celebrating our region’s tech talent, building on the momentum from previous events like WordCamp Tegal 2023.

While the specific reasons for the cancellation aren’t detailed, It’s a real letdown for everyone, from the organizers who put in so much hard work to the attendees who were excited to learn and network.

The good news is that this isn’t necessarily the end. The event page indicates that future possibilities remain open, encouraging those interested to submit their email for updates on potential rescheduling or new events.

For now, we can only thank the organizers for their hard work and look forward to the next time our community can come together. The spirit of collaboration in Tegal’s tech scene is strong, and I’m confident we’ll have another opportunity to gather soon.
